Touched by an Ant
Ok, so most of you have read about my little Ant before. She's the daughter of Isis, one of my longest freinds and also an ex-girlfreind of mine. We were together for about 3 years and during that time Ant and I got very close. Her real father didn't have much to do with her growing up. Oh he spends time with her now, acctually had her live with him for almost a year, but thats all happened in the last 4-5 years or so. She is the closest thing I have or will probably ever have to a dughter of my own. Even when Isis and I have had our very few fights Ant and i have stayed in touch and stayed close.
Well Iw as on the phone with her last night telling her about Midget's wedding and some of the stuff that went on. The conversation went roughly like this.
Ant: So you ended up having a really good time then?
Me: Yeah. I evemn danced twice. (I don't normally ever dance if I can help it.)
Ant: You know, someday I'm going to have to plan my wedding.
Me: Yep. I bet you'll look lovely all dressed in white.
Ant: Blue.
Me: Blue? Not White?
Ant: Blue. I don't like how I look in white.
Me: So will I get to see you in your blue dress?
Ant: Of course, you and my father will be the ones walking me down the aisle.
I almost cried when she said that. It was just an Awwwww moment for me. I just had to share that cause it made me happy.

That was very cool, and I think she's right to pick the color she wants to wear and not what society dictates. I hate myself in white too. :)

i was gonna have my dad and a friend that was like a dad for many years walk me down. The friend said, no let me be the one to escort your mom, have your dad do it. So I did, but I got special pictures with him.
That is so sweet. Being loved by a child is an amazing thing.
i hope i get to walk someone down an aisle own day. my mom walked me. that's a special honor. you're a lucky guy. :)
