Request

Ok, so as I gear up for my trip to Canada I'm burning CD's like mad. The problem is, I think I've gotten just about all the stuff I can think of. From doing full CD's of individual proformers to mix CD's I just can't seem to be able to come up with much more. I think It's just that my brain is burned out trying to get ready.
So what I figure I could do is turn to you, my fellow bloggers, to see what you come up with. I'm asking for 4-5 songs from each of you. Now I'm not looking for stuff that is popular on the radio. I've gotten about all the radio friendly songs I need. What I'd like is some personal favorties that arn't overly well known. Some exaples would be 'Beakdown' by Jack Johnson, which I first found out about by Mom That's Nuts or 'Ghost' by Indigo Girls that EFFXB put on a tape for me or 'Sleeping In' by the Postal Service that I first heard in the company of BM. Songs that are great, but you won't have heard of unless you really like the artist. So what do you say? Can you come up with 4-5 relativly unknown songs for me to check out for the drive? Give it a shot.

This might be too easy...
Interstellar Overdrive by Pink Floyd (good luck with that one, and you'll probably despise the rest of the album)

Maggotbrain by the Funkadelics has always been a favorite oldie fer me.

The entire album of Santana and Buddy Miles Live at Diamondhead, Hawaii....but, Funkified Filth, fer sure.

Snowblind by Steppenwolf.
these ain't so oddball, just old.

Good travelin' stuff:
Alice Cooper, School's Out.
Yes, Fragile
Bourne Supremacy, the soundtrack.
If ya had said it a bit earlier, I could'a sent ya some of my own stuff, Garanteed t'not let ya fall asleep at the wheel.

OK, enuf said, cosiderin' I din't use the rhyme I've grown fond of doin'.

i have to also agree with supervisor on the david gilmour 'island'. the whole album is moving. but i would rather hear the original porno for pyros than 'god's good urge'. seemed more overproduced or something.
